The second edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) will get underway from 23rd February in M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The first match of WPL will be between Mumbai Indians Women (MUL-W) and Delhi Capitals Women (DEL-W). The first match will start at 8.00 PM but there will be an opening ceremony from 6.30 PM onwards.

This match is the rematch of last year's WPL final match where Mumbai Indians won by 7 wickets.

The pitch of M Chinnaswamy Stadium always benefited batsmen. There is little available for the bowlers, but the batters receive full value for their shots.
