The legendary center-forward Cristiano Ronaldo made his historic 200th international appearance while playing for Portugal. He played his 200th match in the UEFA Euro Qualifiers match against Iceland on Wednesday, the 21st of January. Ronaldo made his historic match more memorable with a winning goal in favour of his team.

In terms of stats, Portugal smashed 11 shots in comparison to Iceland’s 7 shots. Whereas, Ronaldo’s men had 3 shots on target, two more than Iceland’s one shot on target.

Portugal kept 72% of the ball possession in comparison to the only 28% possession kept by Iceland. The former had a pass accuracy of 88%; on the other hand, Iceland had a 68% pass accuracy.

Talking about the scores, the skipper and the star center-forward Cristiano Ronaldo scored the winning goal for Portugal in the 89th minute of the match. This goal came as the match-defining moment for both teams as Portugal emerged victorious from here.
