The much-anticipated 2023 edition of the WWE Royal Rumble took place in the Alamodome in San Antonio of Texas. The coveted wrestling event had witnessed some shocking turnarounds in its past editions so it was also expected in this edition of the Rumble. The first shocking comeback that stunned everyone was the entry of renowned Hall of Fame wrestler and commentator in NXT, none other than Booker T, he made an entry to the ring at 21st number in the 30-men Royal Rumble.
Booker T’s return was followed by the entry of Edge at the 24th number who immediately attacked The Judgment day.
Later on, it was Logan Paul who came in 29th number after a hiatus since he faced a defeat in the Crown Jewel 2022 against WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Last but not the least, the 30th entry and the winner of the 2023 edition Cody Rhodes amazed everyone with his return to the ring after a long wait since he sustained an injury back in June 2022.

Apart from her, Piper Niven came at the 18th number whereas it was Chelsea Green at the 20th number who was in the headlines for her speculated comeback in the ring.
The veteran WWE superstar Michelle McCool also made a shocking comeback in the ring just before another astonishing comeback of Nia Jax at the 30th number. Eventually, it was none other than the first entrant Rhea Ripley who lifted the title of the women’s Royal Rumble.
