The 36th edition of the WWE Royal Rumble event is going to take place on 29 January 2023. The event will take place in San Antonio, Texas. 30 women will look to win the prestigious match this year to eliminate their competitors by tossing them over the top rope, with both feet touching the floor.

In the last edition, Ronda Rousey won the match. So, fans are eagerly waiting to see their favorite women wrestlers in action this year. Becky Lynch made a comeback recently. So there are several superstars who can be the front-runners to win the match in this upcoming edition in Texas.   

Here are the top three women superstars who can impress in the WWE Royal Rumble 2023:

This female superstar can be the one to watch out for in the Royal Rumble 2023. Becky Lynch has won the 30-Woman Royal Rumble match in 2019. So, she will look to win the match again this year. Speaking of her achievements, She has won the Raw Women’s Championship two times. Then, Becky won the Smackdown Women’s Championship four times. 

Along with all these, she has won the SuperGirls Championship once. In the 2019 edition, she eliminated Charlotte Flair at Chase Field, Phoenix, Arizona. Regarding this upcoming event, in a recent interview with WWE UK, she said: “I mean, you always hope to win. If you’re entering the Royal Rumble, then you always hope to win. So that’s the plan. Win the Royal Rumble and go on to Main Event at WrestleMania twice. That’s the goal.”

This former Smackdown Women’s World Champion can be another superstar to watch out for in the Royal Rumble 2023. Ronda Rousey has won the 30-Woman WWE Royal Rumble match in 2022. So, it will be a great chance for her to make it two this time around. Speaking of her achievements, She has won the Raw Women’s Championship once. 

Then, Rousey won the Smackdown Women’s Championship twice. Currently, Charlotte Flair made a surprising comeback and defeated her to win the Smackdown Women’s Championship. In the 2022 edition, she eliminated Charlotte Flair at The Dome at America’s Center St. Louis, MS. So, fans will hope for an entertaining show from her.       

Rhea Ripley

This female superstar can surprise everyone in the upcoming 30-Woman WWE Royal Rumble match in 2023. Rhea Ripley had a great chase to win the event for the first time in 2021. But, Bianca Belair eliminated her. Speaking about her achievements, Ripley has won the Raw Women’s Championship once.

She has won the Women's Tag Team Championship once in her career. Speaking of that moment, Ripley said: “That tied together our whole story, going back to our NXT match together in Portland. Then Charlotte came in for the WrestleMania match, and she knocked us both down. We never overcame Charlotte, until we both eliminated her in the Royal Rumble. That was a great moment, and then it came down to me and Bianca in the end.”
