Just a few days ahead of WWE Monday Night Raw, the Chief Content Officer of the company, Triple H came up with a big and shocking revelation about a rumoured return of the former WWE Champion in the upcoming Monday Night Raw. However, Triple H hasn’t confirmed anything about the same but he also asked the fans to stay tuned for further updates.

Notably, there were rumours among the fans about the possible return of the former WWE Champion.

“WWE has been working on bringing back a former WWE Champion who is not currently on the roster. There's no word on who this person might be,” reads a report in Fightful Select.

“Not going to confirm or deny the rumours of a former WWE Champion appearing at WWE Raw day one, but I will say to stay tuned, New Year’s Day, 8 PM ET on USA Network,” wrote Triple H in a post from his official X-handle (formerly Twitter).

Here’s a look at the X-post shared by Triple H about WWE Monday Night Raw:

Interestingly, WWE is expected to get a big viewership in the next week on the first day of the Raw on Monday night. The rumoured return of the mysterious former WWE Champion might also attract a lot of eyeballs; so, the viewership records of WWE might cross Monday Night Football.

Earlier, just a month ago, Triple H also explained his approach to running WWE Creative in his capacity as a Chief Content Officer.

“I started at zero and saw all the various stages of it. I’ve worked in front of basically no people, and I’ve worked the biggest shows in the world. I understand the process–the successes and the failures. Even when you get an opportunity to move up the card, then you’re moved back down and you’re not sure if you’re going to get that opportunity again–I’ve been there,” said Triple H to Justin Barrasso on Sports Illustrated.

Vince taught me years ago, that you put yourself in the seats and you’ll never go wrong. You’ve always got to maintain that perspective. I started as a fan. Book what people want to feel and see,” he added later.
