It looks like the former Australian cricketers have some different kind of admiration for the current Indian skipper Rohit Sharma. Just a day after former skipper Michael Clarke’s praising remarks for the Indian skipper, now, the former pace bowling great Brett Lee has lavished his praises on Rohit.

"Rohit Sharma is very cool & relaxed, he is one of the best players of pull shots, the way he attacks and takes down the bowlers - he is a Tiger of world cricket,” said Brett Lee recently while talking about Rohit Sharma.

Meanwhile, this statement from Brett Lee came up as an opportunity for a section of Indian cricket fans to come up with some hilarious and interesting reactions on the micro-blogging site Twitter. Some of the fans considered this praise for Rohit Sharma from Lee as an exaggeration.

Here’s how fans reacted:

Speaking of Michael Clarke’s statement earlier, he also heaped praises on the 36-year-old Indian all-format skipper. During an interview with the RevSportz, Clarke also felt that Rohit has an aggressive approach while leading the side on the field.

“I would be keeping the faith with Rohit. I think he is a very good captain. I like his aggressive approach; he looks to be as positive as he can be. He has had a lot of success as a leader. Look at his IPL record for Mumbai (Indians). Just because India didn’t win the Test World Championship doesn’t mean Rohit is not the right guy to lead India. The fact that India qualified again, they are the only team to make consecutive finals, says a lot about how they have played their Test cricket over the past four years. It is also a very important time for stability with the One-Day World Cup right around the corner,” said Clarke to RevSportz’s Boria Majumdar.
