The Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has now become the first-ever Indian skipper to score a century across all formats of the game. The 35-year-old has completed his 9th
Test century in the ongoing Nagpur Test between India and Australia. Notably, the century has come for Sharma after a long wait in red-ball cricket.
Nagpur’s local boy has scored this century for the hosts in the time when they lost most of their crucial wickets including the likes of Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara, former skipper and Virat Kohli, and star Test debutant Suryakumar Yadav.
Following this century from the full-time skipper in his comeback match in Test cricket also drew a lot of reactions from the fans and cricketing fraternity as well. They took to Twitter to lavish praises on the star Indian opener and skipper.
