Virat Kohli is currently busy preparing for the upcoming 20-20 World Cup in Australia. After having a long run of poor form, the former Indian skipper made a comeback in the Asia Cup 2022. Since then, he has been enjoying a good run again with the bat. On the other hand, there are reports of the sacking of Sourav Ganguly in the last few days.
According to recent reports, the Indian Cricket Board members are not happy with the overall performance of Ganguly during his tenure. In the recent AGM in Delhi, they decided to sack him. Even, they have proposed the name of another former Indian cricketer, Roger Binny.

They are not happy with Ganguly’s performance during his tenure as the President of the board. Even, Ganguly ambushed Board sponsors by endorsing the rival brands. That did not go well with other members. Reports also suggested that Ganguly wanted to continue as the President of the Board. But, no one back him as it left the former captain upset, disappointed, and dejected. After the meeting, he was the last one leaving the office.
He even rolled up the glasses of his car window while leaving. However, after such reports, Virat Kohli fans slammed Sourav Ganguly. They shared that it is Ganguly’s fate only after how he treated Kohli throughout his tenure. Fans believe that Sourav Ganguly is the sole reason behind stripping Virat Kohli of the captaincy. Virat Kohli wanted to continue as ODI captain. But, the Board decided to deny his request. Now, the Board has denied Sourav Ganguly’s wish to continue as the President of the Board.
