Indian cricket fans are anxious to see the Indian squad reunited after the IPL 2023 is over because they have several significant competitions to play this year. The Test Championship finals in June, followed by the Asia Cup in September, and the ODI World Cup in October-November, will be the Indian cricket team's first assignments.

Adidas sparked interest in Team India's new uniforms less than a week into becoming the team's official kit partner. Adidas highlighted the excitement that cricket fans have over the newly introduced jerseys for the Indian cricket team in a statement on its Twitter account on Wednesday. The jersey sponsor released a video demonstrating the reactions to the first look of the shirts but still nothing can be decided on the basis of that.

On May 23, 2023, Adidas as well as the Indian Cricket Board signed a five-year partnership. Adidas will receive exclusive rights under the arrangement to provide uniforms for all game formats. All match, training, and travel apparel for the BCCI's men's, women's, and youth teams will be provided exclusively by Adidas.

“We are committed to helping grow the game of cricket and could not be more excited to partner with one of the world’s leading sportswear brands, Adidas, in this journey. With its rich historical legacy in sports, world-class products, and strong global reach, Adidas will play an important role in driving the performance and future success of different categories of Indian cricket."

An image of the team's shirts was released by Adidas, the official kit sponsor for the Indian cricket team. The business advised supporters who wanted to see additional images of the jerseys to first follow Adidas' official Twitter account followed by DM (Direct Message) them with the subject line "Drop the #adidasTeamIndiaJersey."
