India and Australia locked horns in the third of the four-match Test series at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. After losing the first two Tests, the Aussies under the captaincy of stand-in skipper, Steve Smith made a stunning comeback and won the Indore Test by a big margin of nine wickets to make the scoreline 2-1 in the four-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Apart from the cricketing action on the field, what went a point of discussion among the fans was the statement of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma; which came in the aftermath of the defeat against Australia. Skipper Sharma talked about the end of the Test match within three days. He went on to mention the fixtures in South Africa and also compared the matches on Indian soil to the red-ball fixtures played in Pakistan of late.

"Matches don’t last 5 days even outside India. The game in South Africa got over in 3 days. In Pakistan, people were saying it's so boring, so we are making things interesting," said Rohit Sharma in the post-match presentation.
