Babar Azam is currently busy playing the ongoing 20-20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. However, Pakistan have failed to have a great start in this tournament under the leadership of Babar. They have managed only one win so far in three matches. But, fans are more worried about the ongoing poor form of their skipper with the bat.

In three matches so far, Babar Azam has managed only eight runs. However, regarding that, former Indian spinner Amit Mishra came up with a tweet. He tweeted “This too shall pass. Stay strong,” on his official Twitter profile. In response to that, Shahid Afridi responded in a fitting way.

Babar Azam shared the same tweet in support of former Indian skipper Virat Kohli

Speaking about this tweet, Babar Azam shared this exact tweet a few months back for Virat Kohli. That time, he was going through a poor run of form with the bat. So, Babar showed a heartwarming gesture in support of the batter. But, Amit Mishra used the same tweet to mock him as Pakistani fans did not like it.

On Pakistan's Samaa TV, the anchor stated that while Babar showed a big heart, a player named Amit Mishra is making fun of it. In reply to that, Shahid Afridi said: “Ye jo aap naam le rahe hain Amit Mishra, ye bhi India se khela hua hai. Ye spinner tha ki batsman tha? (This name you're taking, Amit Mishra, he has also played for India. Was he a spinner or a batsman?)”

Then, the anchor confirmed that Amit Mishra was a spinner. Listening to that, the former Pakistani skipper said: “Koi baat nahi. Chalein aage. This too shall pass. (Don't worry. Let's move on).” Speaking about the form of Babar Azam, he managed a golden duck against the Men in Blue. Then he scored four runs each time in the next two matches against Zimbabwe and the Netherlands respectively. So, Pakistani fans are still hoping to see their skipper back in top form in the remaining matches of this World Cup.
