Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians clashed against each other in the 49th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Saturday, May 6. The four-time champions defeated the Rohit Sharma-led side by wickets and also registered their 2nd victory of the season against them.

Meanwhile, a video is getting viral on the internet, in which an old-aged person is looking like former legendary Indian cricketer and CSK skipper MS Dhoni. The person can be seen sitting in the stands watching the play, however, somehow the cameraman spotted him and he became an overnight sensation. Many fans have reacted to the video and have given different reactions to it.

Talking about the match, Matheesha Pathirana guided CSK to hold MI to 139 during the game. Deepak Chahar and Tushar Deshpande, each took two wickets in three and four overs, while Pathirana took three for 15 in his four overs. It was not the outing that the MI batters would have preferred. None of the other batters, excluding Nehal Wadhera, scored more than 30 runs. 

Ruturaj Gaikwad and Conway, CSK's openers, got things rolling quickly in the chase. Conway held one end and scored 44 points off of 42 balls while the former left for a 16-ball 30. Ajinkya Rahane scored 21 runs off 17 balls, while Shivam Dube added 26 runs off 18 balls. Ambati Rayudu had another bad day, scoring just 12 runs. Following Conway's dismissal in the 17th over, CSK captain MS Dhoni also came to bat and made the crowd go crazy. Additionally, he scored the winning run for CSK in Arshad Khan's 18th over.

With this victory, CSK has surpassed Lucknow Super Giants to move up to second place in the points standings. CSK has 11 games and 13 points. MI, meanwhile, has 10 points in 10 games but is still outside the top half of the points table.
