‘You are wasting talent like Sanju Samson by…’ - Danish Kaneria Slams Team India In Support Of Star Batter

Team India are currently busy playing the ongoing three-match T20I series in New Zealand. However, the series began on 20 November 2022 when team India took on the Kiwis in Mount Maunganui. The first match on 18 November got abandoned due to heavy rain in Wellington. But, the Men in Blue managed to defeat the home side by 65 runs.

However, all fans were hoping to see Sanju Samson in the playing XI. But, at the toss, skipper Hardik Pandya confirmed that Sanju Samson failed to get a place in the final playing XI. So, his fans were not happy once again with the team management for such a decision. Now, the former Pakistani spinner, Danish Kaneria came up with a huge allegation against the Indian team management in support of the star batter.

“India are wasting talent like Sanju Samson by making him sit on the bench.” - Danish Kaneria

Danish Kaneria seemed to be not so happy with the Indian team management for benching a player like Sanju Samson. He also claimed that the Men in Blue are wasting a talent like Sanju Samson by not considering him for playing XI. 

Kaneria said: “India are wasting talent like Sanju Samson by making him sit on the bench. He is a fantastic batter who is capable of carrying the team on his shoulders. The team management must keep an eye on the future. Samson could be a very good choice to lead India at some stage. He should be given consistent opportunities now.”

“Rohit Sharma failed to utilize Deepak Hooda well. He didn’t give him a single over when he was a part of the playing XI. Players need to be given a fair chance. We saw how, when he got the opportunity to bowl, he picked up four wickets” Danish Kaneria concluded. However, team India will be in action again on 22 November 2022 in Napier. They will take on the Kiwis in the third and last game of the series.
