The footballing world got a bit of shock after hearing the speculated news of Kylian Mbappe reportedly leaving the renowned French club Paris Saint-Germain. Notably, Mbappe signed a contract with PSG five years back in the year 2018 for a period of six years which is supposed to end next year in 2024.

But the young center-forward has happened to put a suspicious line on his remaining two-year contract. The media reports have learned that he might reject the extension in the contract and go freely in the upcoming 2024 season.

Meanwhile, the former French defender Rolland Courbis came up with a hard stance and he slammed Mbappe while talking about the latter’s contract with PSG. Courbis didn’t look happy with the move Mbappe is planning with PSG.

Here's what Rolland Courbis said for Kylian Mbappe

“You don’t think you’re going to play for a year and say goodbye to us! If that’s your idea, have a reunion with your family, because you’re not going to play Paris Saint-Germain for a minute anymore!” said Courbis to After Foot RMC.

Apart from this, Mbappe’s teammate at PSG and the World Cup winner legendary Argentine skipper, Lionel Messi had also left PSG a few weeks back. Messi also talked about the behaviour of the Paris fans with him after Argentina defeated France in the final of the FIFA World Cup 2022.

“At first it was great, I received a lot of encouragement as I’ve often said, but then people started to treat me differently, some of the Paris fans. The majority, on the other hand, treated me as well as they did at the start. There was a rift with a large section of the Paris crowd,” said Messi to RMC Sport.

So, it would be interesting to see now what will be the fate of Mbappe with PSG given the fact that one renowned international had already left the club.
