The second Test of India vs Australia series was a one-sided game in the end even though the first two days were exciting. 2. Usman Khawaja sweeping his way to a half-century
The left-handed opening batter scored 81 runs and was playing the India bowlers with ease and command. When he was batting, the Indian fans and the team was feeling the pressure as the wicket was low and turning on occasion.
Khawaja deployed sweep and reverse sweep against the spin trio of Jadeja, Ashwin, and Axar Patel. However, one of the reverse sweeps brought his downfall and kept him away from a Test hundred.
3. Virat Kohli being given out lbw
The former India skipper was batting well towards his way to 44 runs. During his innings, he was playing the likes of Nathan Lyon, Todd Murphy, and Matthew Kunhemann. However, when it looked like Kohli would go on to score big, he was given out lbw.
However, after challenging the on-field decision, it was found that the ball was hitting the bat and pad at the same time. As per the rules, it should have been given not out. However, the third umpire stayed with the on-field decision.
4. Australia lost nine wickets on the first session of Day Three
Ahead of the Day Three play, the Aussies were 60-odd after losing one wicket. The fans were looking for an exciting game ahead. However, fans of both teams wouldn't have thought that the Aussies would sweep their way out of the series.
