'Aadat se majboor' - Fans react as Jay Shah's obscene gesture during GT vs CSK, IPL 2023 final goes viral

The Indian Cricket Board secretary and the President of Asian Cricket’s governing body, Jay Shah is on the receiving end of the harsh trolls on social media. It all started after his awkward gesture went viral during the IPL 2023 final between the Gujarat Titans and the Chennai Super Kings.

The video of this moment involving Jay Shah started making rounds on social media just within minutes of being shared on the micro-blogging site Twitter. The fans came up with some brutal reactions and responses to troll Jay Shah for this reaction being positioned in such a responsible position.

Speaking of cricket, the visitors’ skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, GT posted a big total of 214 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 20 overs. The young number three batter Sai Sudharsan played a sensational knock of 96 runs off just 47 balls with eight boundaries and six sixes. Other than him, the senior opener Wriddhiman Saha also scored a crucial half-century and contributed 54 runs with five fours and a six on his credit.

Later on, the rain happened to delay the match and the game was revised to the target of 171 runs in 15 overs for the Chennai Super Kings. While chasing the target, the veteran opener Devon Conway scored 47 runs off just 25 balls followed by an unbeaten knock of 32 runs by Shivam Dube.

In the last over, the star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja stunned everyone when CSK required 10 runs off just the last 2 balls and he smashed a six followed by a four to win the match for his team in a thrilling style. Eventually, MS Dhoni’s men won the match by a margin of 5 wickets to clinch their fifth IPL title and jointly become the most successful team alongside the five-time champions Mumbai Indians.
