Former Indian skipper and batting superstar, Virat Kohli recently scored a Test century in the recently-concluded four-match Test series against Australia. Notably this century in red-ball cricket after a long wait of 3 years, 3 months, and 17 days. It was also the 75th international century for Virat Kohli.

Apart from other cricketing debates, Kohli has recently opened up about his on-field bond with the former legendary Indian skipper MS Dhoni. Kohli said that he and MSD had a good understanding on-field when it came to bat and sojourn there in the middle for the team.

"Me & MS Dhoni had very good coordination, I didn't even want to call while running,” said Kohli to AB de Villiers in the latter’s ‘360 Show’.

A section of Indian cricket fans also came up with a lot of interesting reactions on the micro-blogging site following this statement from the 34-year-old. Some of the fans went on recall a few of the instances when Dhoni and Virat showed their brilliant coordination with their running between the wickets.

Here’s how fans reacted:

Talking about the recent appearances of Virat Kohli, he hasn’t been much impressive in the ongoing three-match ODI series between India and Australia. He couldn’t live up to the expectations when the Indian batting order collapsed during the second ODI against the Aussies in Vishakhapatnam.

Now, Virat will be in action with Team India in the third and last of the three-match ODI series against Australia. Both teams will play this match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Notably, both teams have won one match each and the series is leveled with a scoreline of 1-1. So, the third ODI in Chennai will be a series decider.

Coming back to Virat Kohli, he will feature for the Bangalore franchise in the upcoming 2023 edition of the Indian T20 League. He will be eyeing to make a comeback in the tournament after a miserable season with the bat last year in Indian T20 League 2022.
