Lucknow management has launched their new jersey ahead of the Indian T20 League 2023. The franchise their debut in the tournament during last year’s edition in the 2022 edition of the Indian T20 League. The skipper KL Rahul had a good run of form as skipper with Lucknow as the team made it through to the eliminator of the tournament.
Now, the team and the entire franchise are gearing up for the upcoming edition of the Indian T20 League. Recently, the franchise made it to the headlines as they staged a jersey launch of the team ahead of the 16th edition of the tournament.
Subsequently, a section of cricket fans took this jersey launch as an opportunity to troll Lucknow and KL Rahul. They came up with a lot of interesting tweets and reaction responses on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

Here’s a look at the squad of Lucknow for the Indian T20 League 2023:
KL Rahul, Ayush Bhadohi, Quinton de Kock Manan Bohra, Avesh Khan Ravi Bishnoi Mayank Yadav Mark Wood Mohsin Khan, Deepak Hooda, Kunal Pandya, Marcus Stoinis, Karan Sharma, Krishnappa Gautam, Kyle Mayers.
Lucknow will start their campaign in the tournament with the first match against Delhi in their home ground Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Saturday, the 1st of April.
The 2023 edition of the Indian T20 League will commence on Friday, the 31st of March with the tournament opener between Chennai and Gujarat; both teams will play this match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Meanwhile, currently, the Women’s T20 League is underway; four matches of the tournament have been played so far among the participating teams. The next and 5th match of the tournament is lined up between Delhi and UP at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai. Notably, it is the first-ever edition of the Women’s T20 League.
