A new season of the Indian T20 League (ITL) starts this Friday, and the Delhi franchise finally announced Rishabh Pant's replacement. As per a trusted source, Bengal's Abhishek Porel will replace the captain. Porel, who plays for Bengal, is also a left-hander and can keep wickets, making him a like-for-like replacement.
Pant has been ruled out for the entire season of the ITL due to an injury he sustained during an accident late last year. While he recovers, the Delhi players are bound to miss their captain. David Warner will lead the Capitals this season, while Axar Patel has been named their vice-captain.
