Abu Dhabi T10 League is one of the most entertaining and enthralling leagues out there. The short format, aggressive batting, and skillful bowling make it one of the most popular tournaments. Almost every single ball is packed with action and surprises. Every single match potentially goes down to the wire and the winner is decided on the last ball. Spine-tingling matches keep the spectators on the edge of their seats.

The new season is awaited and the fans are already thrilled to witness some of their stars go into the beast mode. Let's take a look at five of the best matches in the history of the league:

1) Deccan Gladiators vs Bangla Tigers (27th Match, December 01, 2021):

Deccan Gladiators and Bangla Tigers locked horns with each other in match 27 of the previous edition. It turned out to be an exciting game with Deccan Gladiators firing it up in the first innings. Bangla Tigers won the toss and elected to field first. It turned out to be a nightmare for them as Tom Kohler-Cadmore produced carnage as he remained not-out on 96 off just 39 balls.

The Gladiators managed to put a total of 140 runs after losing only one wicket. The Bangla Tigers failed to chase down the total as they were bundled out for just 78 runs.

2) Team Abu Dhabi vs Bangla Tigers (3rd place playoff, December 04, 2021):

This turned out to be a thriller as the match ended in a tie. Team Abu Dhabi and Bangla Tigers locked horns in the third place playoff of the edition. Team Abu Dhabi called it right at the toss and chose to defend the total. They ended up amassing 98 runs for the loss of five wickets.

Bangla Tigers came back with an intent to take the win but in vain as they ended up aggregating 98 runs for the loss of six wickets as well. Eventually, Team Abu Dhabi were declared the winners as they were placed higher on the points table.

3) Deccan Gladiators vs Qalandars (2nd Qualifier, November 23, 2019):

Another exciting match in the history of the league came in the year 2019. The second qualifier of the edition turned out to be a cracker. Deccan Gladiators won the toss and elected to bat first. Ben Cutting's carnage powered the team to a massive total of 116 for the loss of seven wickets.

The Qalandars eventually lost the match by 12 runs as their batters failed to produce a Ben Cutting kind of an innings. Phil Salt remained unbeaten on 27.

4) Maratha Arabians vs Delhi Bulls (19th Match, November 21, 2019):

The 19th match of the edition turned out to be a high-scoring match. Delhi Bulls won the toss and elected to hunt down the target. Maratha Arabians' batters produced one of the best blitzkrieg innings of all time. Chris Lynn scored a mammoth 89 off just 33 balls. The Arabians ended up scoring 146 for the loss of four wickets in the first innings.

Delhi Bulls' batters Shane Rutherford and Kusal Perera almost chased down the total but, eventually, fell short by thirty runs in the end.

5) Punjabi Legends vs Pakhtoons (2nd semifinal, December 17, 2017):

The 2nd semifinal of the T10 League in 2017 edition is hailed as one of the best matches in the history of the tournament. Pakhtoons called it right at the toss and decided to bat first. The Pakhtoons batters Ahmed Shehzad and Shahid Afridi produced an aggressive innings to take the team's total to 129 for the loss of four wickets.

The Legends came back harder and eventually chased the total down by 9 wickets on the back of Luke Ronchi's 6o and Shoaib Malik's 48. They chased down the total with five balls to spare.
