Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is currently out of action from international cricket as he has been rested from the ongoing five-match T20I series against West Indies. He is spending some quality time with his family, and also attracting eyeballs for his off-the-field activities.

Recently, Sharma visited the Tirupati Balaji Temple with his wife Ritika Sajdeh and their daughter. The pictures of the skipper spending time with his family are also making rounds on social media after being shared by a user on Twitter.

Notably, Rohit Sharma was last in action with Team India in international cricket only during the first ODI of the three-match series against West Indies. Later, he was rested from the second and third ODI of the series and Hardik Pandya was appointed as the stand-in skipper of the Men in Blue.

Currently, Team India, under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya, has levelled the five-match T20I series against the West Indies at 2-2. They made a comeback in the series with two consecutive wins in the third and fourth T20I after facing two straight defeats in the first and second T20I of the series.

Now, Rohit Sharma, alongside former skipper Virat Kohli will be back in action at the highest level of the game for Team India, in the upcoming Asia Cup 2023. Rohit’s men will start their campaign in the continental tournament with their first match against the arch-rivals, Pakistan.

Following the conclusion of the 16th edition of the Asia Cup, India will be playing a home series of limited-overs against Australia next month in September. These two major assignments are being seen as the big chances for India to prepare for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023, in their own backyard.

Coming back to the Indian skipper’s visit to Tirupati Balaji Temple, the fans also reacted to it with multiple opinions and remarks about him. Some of the fans also compared it to the religious visits of the former Indian skipper Virat Kohli a couple of months ago.
