India lost another final of the major international tournament and their wait for a title has been extended a bit long. Rohit Sharma-led Team India lost to Australia in the coveted World Test Championship 2023 final against Australia. The Aussies outclassed the Indian team by a big margin of 209 runs.
Meanwhile, the Indian cricketing fraternity has been divided in a lot of opinions on the captaincy of the team. Amidst all this, the former star Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has fallen on the receiving end of some trolling remarks on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
It all happened when a fan remembered and recalled the captaincy of MS Dhoni for India in the major international tournaments including the title wins in the 20-20 World Cup 2007, ODI World Cup 2011, and the Champions Trophy 2013.
“No coach, no mentor, young boy's, most of the senior players denied to take part. never captained any single match before. This guy defeated prime Australia in the semifinals and won a T20 World Cup in 48 days after becoming captain,” wrote the fan on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

But the two-time World Cup-winning off-spinner Harbhajan Singh couldn’t take this easy and come up with a hitting-back tweet for the MS Dhoni fan.
“Yes, when these matches were played this young boy was playing alone from India.. not the other 10. So alone he won the World Cup trophies, irony when Australia or any other nation wins the World Cup headlines say Australia or etc country won. But when the Indian wins it’s said the captain won it’s a team sport. Win together lose together,” wrote Harbhajan Singh.

But a section of the cricket fans immediately rushed to the comment section of Bhajji’s tweet and trolled him with a lot of reactions and responses on the micro-blogging site Twitter. Some of the fans also felt that Bhajji said all this out of his jealousy for MS Dhoni.

People will take Bhajji out of context here but actually he has a point. Pat Cummins was asked to captain the Aus test side in late 2021 & he won WTC mace as captain in his first attempt. But only he won't be hailed for the success, every single Aussie player will get his due.
