The young batter Yashasvi Jaiswal has stunned everyone with his amazing and sensational batting display in the ongoing Irani Trophy match between the Rest of India and Madhya Pradesh. The 21-year-old smashed an amazing double-century in the first innings by scoring 213 runs off 259 balls with 30 boundaries and three sixes to his name.

He continues his brilliance in the second innings as well for the Rest of India by smashing a century. The Indian cricket fans are also overwhelmed and overjoyed following this amazing performance of the young Mumbai batter. Later on, the fans have also taken to Twitter and are hailing Jaiswal for his batting heroics; apart from that, fans are also demanding a call-up for him in the Test squad of India’s national side.

Speaking of the current action of the Irani Trophy, the Rest of India skipper Mayank Agarwal won the toss and decided to bat first. The visitors posted a total of 484 runs courtesy of Jaiswal’s 213-run knock. Apart from him, star domestic opener Abhimanyu Eeswaran also amassed a century and played a knock of 154 runs off 240 balls with 17 boundaries and two sixes on his credit.

Star Madhya Pradesh pacer Avesh Khan scalped four wickets in the first innings for the hosts alongside two wickets each by Anubhav Agarwal and Kumar Kartikeya. Other than this trio, Ankit Kushwah also claimed a wicket to his name.

Later on, the ROI bowling lineup bundled up the MP batting lineup on the score of 294 to take a big lead of 190 runs in the first innings. It was only the middle-order batter Yash Dubey who scored a century for MP in the first innings with a knock of 109 runs off 258 runs with 16 boundaries. Pulkit Narang scalped four wickets for ROI alongside Navdeep Saini who claimed three scalps. Besides these two, Saurabh Kumar and Mukesh Kumar also scalped 1 and 2 wickets respectively.

At the time of filling this copy, the Rest of India is batting in their second innings having Yashasvi Jaiswal there in the middle unbeaten on 121 runs alongside lower-order batter Pulkit Narang. The visitors are currently leading by 391 runs in the second innings.
