Meanwhile, Ramiz Raja was criticized after the first Test match where the pitch made headlines. Even, after the match, the Governing Body of Cricket gave a demerit point to the Rawalpindi pitch.

But, the stadium is still under construction and it will be a bit like the Dubai stadium – high profile. It will be completed in six months and we might have Pakistan Super League matches there. We are contained, in a way. We are not spoilt for choice. This belongs to us, Lahore and Karachi too, but we would like to spread the game around. We are working on it, you will visit teams like Faisalabad and Sialkot next.”

Hearing such a comment, no fans were happy and they slammed Ramiz Raja brutally on social media platforms. Meanwhile, on 15 December, the draft of PSL8 took place in Karachi. ut, on the day of the draft, fans were shocked as there was no light and no mic in that event. This incident happened due to some production failure. Hence, fans from Pakistan and those across the border in India mocked Ramiz Raja and the Pakistan Cricket Board. Now, reports have circulated that Ramiz Raja is all set to be sacked as the PCB Chairman in the coming days.
