Pakistan still waiting for their first win against India in ODI World Cups
Notably, India and Pakistan have faced each other seven times in the ODI World Cup since they locked horns first time in the ODI World Cup 1992. India has won all seven matches and Pakistan is still waiting for a win against India in the marquee international tournament.

Apart from Rohit, the then-skipper Virat Kohli also scored 77 runs with seven boundaries followed by opener KL Rahul’s 57 runs with 3 fours and 2 sixes.
On the back of these knocks, India posted a total of 336 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 50 overs. Mohammad Ami scalped three wickets for Pakistan, alongside one wicket each picked by Hasan Ali and Wahab Riaz.
While chasing the target, Pakistan struggled against the Indian bowling attack and restricted them to the score of only 212 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 40 overs after the target was reduced to 302 runs due to rain. Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam played the knocks of 62 and 48 runs, respectively. Other than these two, Imad Wasim also scored 46 runs with 6 boundaries.

India had a strong team in 2019, 2021 and 2022 WC. But luck was not with them so they could not even reach the finals.
