Young Indian uncapped batter Riyan Parag has been on the receiving end of some harsh trolls on social media once again. It all happened after his recent interview with the Indian Express. He made some blunt statements while justifying his actions on the field. Notably, Riyan Parag has been trolled a lot for his behaviour on the field and some activities off the field as well.
Additionally, he has faced criticism for his subpar performances with the Rajasthan Royals team in the Indian Premier League. Responding to all this, the Assam batter came up with some straightforward replies regarding people’s perspectives and perceptions towards him.

“People have a problem with me chewing gum. If my collar is up that’s a problem. I celebrate after taking a catch that’s a problem. They have a problem with my gaming and playing golf in my off time,” said Riyan Parag to the Indian Express.
“I have an idea why people hate me. There is a rulebook about how you should play cricket. The T-shirt should be tucked in, the collar should be down, give respect to everyone, don’t sledge anyone, and I am completely the opposite,” he added.
Furthermore, the 21-year-old also came up with an explanation for his actions and spoke about the reason behind his passion for the game of cricket. “I started playing cricket because it is fun and I am still playing cricket for the fun part. People can’t digest that I am playing on such a big level, and I am enjoying it. People think I am not grateful,” said Riyan Parag.
However, these statements didn’t go down well with some cricket fans, they called it ‘too much speaking about self’. Fans took to Twitter and started trolling Riyan Parag once again for his big words just after a good season in a domestic tournament. Some fans also advised him to change his attitude.
