The English summer has been kicked off with the ongoing one-off Test between England and Ireland at The Lord’s in London. After this, England under the Bazball leadership will take on the arch-rivals Australia in the historic and famous rivalry of The Ashes. The Ashes 2023 will start from the 16th of June, Friday with the first Test between England and Australia in England.

Notably, England have announced their squad for the first two Tests against Australia in Birmingham and London. Some of the expected names like Mark Wood and a few others aren’t a part of this squad for the first two Tests of the series.

Although Australia are yet to announce their squad for The Ashes as they are currently gearing up for the highly anticipated World Test Championship 2023 Final to be played against India. Both teams will play this match at The Oval in London on the 7th of June, Wednesday from 7.30 PM.

Australia have already announced their squad for the WTC 2023 Final against India, regular skipper Pat Cummins will be back in action with the team after missing the last two Tests of the four-match Test series against India in India.
