Pakistan skipper and star batter Babar Azam happened to fall on the receiving end of some trolling remarks from cricket fans on the micro-blogging site Twitter. It all happened after a video tweet posted by Babar from his official Twitter handle. In this video, the 28-year-old can be seen riding a sports bike.

“Ready, set, GO!” read the caption of the video tweet posted by the Pakistan skipper. Just after this tweet from him, a section of cricket fans immediately took to Twitter and started trolling Babar Azam in the comment section of his tweet.

Here’s how fans reacted:

Talking about cricket, Babar recently led the Pakistan Cricket Team in the five-match ODI series against New Zealand that concluded earlier this month. Under Babar’s captaincy, the men in green won this five-match ODI series with a handsome margin of 4-1. Apart from this, the men in green skipper himself achieved an amazing milestone as he became the fastest batter ever to score 5000 ODI format.

If everything falls in place, Babar could be in action sooner with the national side during the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 which is scheduled to be played in Pakistan. Although there are still clouds of uncertainty over the commencement of the Asia Cup 2023 as India is reluctant on visiting Pakistan to play in the continental tournament.

Other than this, the rifts between the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Indian Cricket Board are rising as the former is also showing a bit of a tough stance on visiting India for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023; the marquee international tournament is scheduled to be played in India later in the month of October and November this year.
