Former India pacer S Sreesanth has been signed by Bangla Tigers for the upcoming season of the Abu Dhabi T10 League. He last played a competitive game in the first round of the Ranji Trophy early this. After a few games, the right-arm pacer decided to call it quits from First Class Cricket. Now, he will represent the Tigers in the tournament which will start on November 23 this year.
Meanwhile, after his signing, the two-time World Cup winner said that he doesn't have any advice for the players. The 39-year-old also requested his team to believe in themselves. He pointed out that his motivation throughout his career was to win the World Cups for India.
“At this stage of life, I don’t think it’s a case of offering advice, but I will request my team to believe in themselves,” Sreesanth said, speaking at the Metropolitan Hotel in Dubai.
“It is all about the belief system. For someone like me, to come from Kerala and win two World Cups with my country, that was my motivation," he added.

The Kerala player added that with Shakib Al Hasan in the team as a skipper, he is confident that the team can do well. He pointed out that as the team finished third last season, this year the team will be crowned as winners.

The team was inducted into the tournament for the first time in 2019. Since then, they have played in the playoffs twice but haven't been able to play in the final. This year, the team will be looking to qualify for the final and take the monkey off their back.
