England Cricket Team had a great winter season on the field after rough summers at home. They lost to India and South Africa in white-ball although they leveled the Test series against India and won against the Proteas. Meanwhile, during the ongoing English winters, the team started by winning the seven-match T20I series in Pakistan by 4-3. After this, they went on to win the 20-20 World Cup 2022.

They then went back to Pakistan and inflicted a historic clean sweep in a three-match Test series. However, before this, they were clean-swept by Australia although the Three Lions was a second-string side. Meanwhile, they also lost a three-match ODI series in South Africa early this year. Recently, they leveled a two-match Test series in New Zealand and won an ODI series in Bangladesh.

However, they were clean-swept by Bangladesh in the T20I before ending their winter cricketing season. Meanwhile, with the team set to go on a break till June, its fan club, Barmy Army conveniently ignored the team's loss in the T20I series against Bangladesh. The fans have been trolling the fan club.
