Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma has featured in another promo released by the TV broadcaster holder of the Indian T20 League 2023. In this promo, he was seen dancing to the song for the promo. Notably, he also featured in another promo in which he came to life after playing a placard-like statue. Meanwhile, the fans aren't impressed with the performance of the India and Mumbai skipper.

Meanwhile, the last two seasons haven't been the best for the five-time winners. After winning their fifth and becoming the second team to defend its title in 2020, the team hasn't qualified for the playoffs. In 2021, the team missed out on the playoffs spot as they lacked behind in the Net Run Rate against Kolkata. They finished fifth in the table.
On the other hand, they had the worst season ever last year. They lost their first eight games in a row, becoming the first team to be eliminated. Also, after winning four out of six games in the latter stage, they finished last in the points table. They never finished last in any of the seasons from 2008 to 2021. This time around, the team would look to do much better in the tournament.
However, they have lost the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Jhye Richardson to their respective injuries. Also, the team is heavily dependent on Jofra Archer, who made his comeback with MI Cape Town, the subsidiary of the Mumbai franchise owners.
