MS Dhoni became the most successful skipper after winning IPL 2023

Speaking of cricket, CSK clinched the title of IPL 2023 under Dhoni’s captaincy and it was their fifth title in the history of the tournament since its inception 15 years back in the year 2008. Notably, CSK also joined the Mumbai Indians to jointly become the most successful team of the tournament equaling their five IPL titles.

Apart from that, skipper MS Dhoni also joined MI skipper Rohit Sharma to become the most successful skipper in the Indian Premier League’s history of 16 seasons. The 42-year-old was also seen struggling with a knee injury throughout the entire 16th edition of the tournament. He was also wearing the kneecap on a couple of occasions.

CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan had also spoken about Dhoni’s injury and the latter’s response to it while playing for his side. "Till the final, he never complained about his knee to anybody. Though everyone knew, and you would've seen him struggling while running, he never complained even once. After the final, he said, 'Okay, I'll have surgery'. He's finished his surgery, he's quite happy, he's recovering," said Kasi Viswanathan during an interview with ESPNcricinfo.

Coming back to Dhoni’s recent viral pictures, the fans poured out their love and praise on him and came up with a lot of interesting reactions on social media.
