India and Australia locked horns in the recently concluded four-match Test series against each other. The series wrapped with the just-finished fourth and last of the four-match Test series at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Rohit Sharma-led Team India won the series by a margin of 2-1 with two straight wins in the first two Tests in Nagpur and Delhi respectively.

Meanwhile, New Zealand and Sri Lanka were locking horns with each other in the first of the two-match Test series in Christchurch; the Kiwis managed to outclass Sri Lanka in the thrilling match by the barest of the margins, two wickets.

Subsequently, cricket fans also took to Twitter to come up with a lot of interesting reactions as India have reached the final of the Test Championship 2023; owing to New Zealand’s win in the first Test against Sri Lanka.

The veteran all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin was adjudged the ‘player of the series' award for their stellar show throughout the entire series. Ashwin topped the chart of leading wicket-takers by scalping 25 wickets including two five-wicket hauls in eight innings of the four Tests.

Whereas, Ravindra Jadeja scalped 22 wickets in eight innings of the four matches including two five-wicket hauls and a 10-wicket haul in the match.

Apart from this, the former Indian skipper and batting superstar, Virat Kohli won the ‘player of the match award for his amazing and historic century of 186 runs off 364 balls with 15 boundaries to his name. He ended up the series as the second-highest run scorer in the series just after Usman Khawaja.

Virat Kohli scored 297 runs in six innings with a decent average of 50.94 including a magnificent century in the first innings of the Ahmedabad Test.

Now, both India and Australia will lock horns in the upcoming three-match ODI series starting with the first ODI at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
