Apart from this, Gautam Gambhir also mentioned his relations with MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli in the later part of the conversation.
“My relationship with MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli is the same. If there is an argument between us, it stays only on the field, not off the field. There’s nothing personal. They want to win as much as I do,” said Gambhir.
The two-time World Cup winner Southpaw also cleared his stance on the incident in which he was involved in a heated argument with Virat Kohli during a match of the Indian Premier League 2023.
“I have had such heated moments with many people. It was just two individuals who wanted their team to win. I thought Naveen was right, and I took a stand. I would have done the same if he was in the opposition, and I stick by my stand. I have a lot of respect for what Virat Kohli has done for India. What happens on the field stays there. That’s all I want to say on this.” he added later.
