Former Indian middle-order batter Ambati Rayudu happened to hang his boots from all forms of cricket just after winning another title with Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League 2023. After that, he might be seen in the league of retired or mostly inactive cricketers for their national team. They all will feature in Major League Cricket (MLC) which is to be played in the USA,
But apart from all the action of cricket, Rayudu has made it to the headlines of social media. The media reports have learned that Ambati Rayudu is likely to join the Andhra Pradesh politics and could contest elections in the upcoming year; he also met Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy which gave rise to the speculations.

Speaking of his international cricketing career in the Indian colours, Rayudu had played 55 ODIs and scored 1694 runs with an amazing average of 47.05. He also registered three centuries and 10 half-centuries to his name in the ODIs.
Other than this, Rayudu could represent India only in 6 T20Is and didn’t get enough chances to prove his worth for the national side at the highest level of the game.
Recently, the Andhra Pradesh batter also revealed how the former chief selector of India, MSK Prasad didn’t like the former and played a huge part in omitting him from the squad of India. The statement from Rayudu has also ignited a big debate in the Indian cricketing scenario on his exclusion from the Indian squad for the ODI World Cup 2019.
Notably, Rayudu is jointly the most successful player of the Indian Premier League after being a part of the winning side 6 times alongside Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma.
