Star Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah and senior opener KL Rahul have been out of action from international cricket for the last few months. Rahul is recovering from a thigh injury while Bumrah is coping with a lengthy back injury. Team India are eagerly waiting for their comeback to the national side considering the ODI World Cup 2023.
Meanwhile, the media reports have learned that Bumrah and Rahul are likely to make a comeback in the national squad soon. “With less than 100 days to go for the World Cup in October-November, India has received some positive feedback about the availability of three of their first-choice players, who are currently out injured. Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, and Shreyas Iyer are currently undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru,” read a report by the Indian Express.
Later on, Indian cricket fans came up with a lot of contrasting reactions and responses on Twitter. Some of the fans came up with a few trolling remarks for both Bumrah and KL Rahul for being absent for a long time from Team India when they were needed most.
Here’s how fans reacted:

To be clear, Bumrah only available for 2.5 overs before he throws his back out and goes on a boating vacation for a couple of years to recuperate and ruminate. #WorldCup2023 #AsiaCup2023 #Asiacup pic.twitter.com/YhJnUyStp0
