Speed was seen wearing the jersey of Team India, having Virat’s name and number over it. Notably, the two Asian cricketing giants will be locking horns in the mega clash at the world’s biggest ground, Narendra Modi Stadium of Ahmedabad.

He played a brilliant and all-important knock of 85 runs in the first match against the five-time champions, Australia to help India win the match by six wickets and start their World Cup campaign with a convincing win.

Subsequently, in the second match of India against Afghanistan at Kohli’s home ground in Delhi, he scored an unbeaten knock of 55 runs to take his team home with a massive margin of 8 wickets in just 35 overs, while chasing the target of 273 runs. The 34-year-old has scored 155 runs in two innings of the two matches, he played so far in the ODI World Cup 2023, with an amazing average of 155 with one unbeaten knock.
