Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is known for his hilarious messages and answers both on-field and off the field. Apart from this witty sense of humour and sensational batting, Rohit is also known for his habit of forgetting things, especially the particular words in some of the sentences he speaks.
A similar sort of moment came on the third day of the third Test between India and England; it happened when Rohit Sharma wasn’t looking happy with his teammates and he came up with a message for them out of frustration. Rohit looked frustrated India were lagging by 3 overs, so the skipper wanted to increase the pace of the game.
He was captured by stump mic, saying, “Jaldi toh mangao ball yaar, ham log 3 over peeche hain. Ye jaldi all out ho gaye na toh ham log ka vo lagega (Get the ball quickly; we are three overs behind. If these guys get all out now, we will be struck with over-rate penalties),” he said.
The video of this particular moment also started making rounds on social media as soon as it was shared by a fan on X (formerly Twitter).
