The flaws in the fielding of the Pakistan Cricket Team are not something new for the cricket fans and followers of the game. They were under fire for their poor fielding performances in the recently concluded three-match Test series against Australia in Australia, where they lost by 0-3.

In the same line of events, former Pakistan skipper and star batter Babar Azam has fallen on the receiving end of quite harsh and brutal trolls from the cricket fans for his fielding. It all happened when Babar dropped quite a simple catch of New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson when the latter was just at the individual score of 9 in the first innings of the first T20I.

Later, riding on this life given by Babar Azam, Williamson went on to score a half-century and played a knock of 57 runs, with 9 fours, helping the hosts to post a big total of 226 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

The fans also came up with a lot of trolling reactions for Babar Azam for his dropped catch and they didnโ€™t miss a second to come up with the trolling remarks over X (formerly Twitter) for the former skipper.

Pakistan lost after some quick starts in their run-chase in the second innings

Speaking of the action of the match, the visiting skipper Shaheen Afridi won the toss and asked the Blackcaps to bat first; batting first, the Kiwis posted a massive total of 226 runs for the loss of 8 wickets courtesy of two half-centuries from skipper Kane Williamson and star middle-order batter Daryl Mitchell as they scored 57 and 61 runs, respectively.

The young debutant Abbas Afridi and the skipper Shaheen Afridi scalped three wickets each for Pakistan in the first innings, alongside two wickets picked by star pacer Haris Rauf.

While chasing the target, Pakistan got bundled out at the score of 180 runs in 18 overs; former skipper Babar Azam was the only batter to score a half-century, scoring 57 runs off 35 balls, with 6 fours and 2 sixes.
