Star South pacer Kagiso Rabada produced a brilliant performance in the exciting clash against Sri Lanka in the fourth match of the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023. Both teams played this match at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on Saturday, October 7. Rabada scalped two wickets of Kusal Mendis and Matheesha Pathirana while defending the target of 429 runs against Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, the star speedster’s father Mpho Rabada also attracted the eyeballs as he was also present in the stadium during this match between South Africa and Sri Lanka. Mr Rabada was cheering for his son and his team from the stands.

Senior Rabada’s pictures went viral when he imitated the celebration for which his son is known on the field.

Apart from that, Mpho Rabada is once again in the headlines of social media today and now, it’s not because of his support for his son or South African side. Today, the pictures of him in an Indian jersey are making rounds on social media. Earlier in the day, he wore Indian skipper Rohit Sharma’s 45-number marked jersey.

Rohit Sharma’s India are playing against Australia in the fifth ODI World Cup 2023 match. Apart from this, it is also a campaign opener for both the teams in the tournament. 

Talking about the action of the match, the Aussie skipper Pat Cummins won the flip of the coin and decided to bat first. Batting first, Australia have scored 110 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 27 overs, with Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne sojourned in the middle on the individual scores of 46 and 22 runs, respectively.

Star pacer Jasprit Bumrah and wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav have scalped one wicket each for India in the first innings. Following this match against the five-time champions, the men in blue will take on Afghanistan in their second match of the tournament on Wednesday, October 11.
