Indian cricketer Hanuma Vihari has found himself at the centre of controversy within the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA). He led to a significant revelation, and subsequent responses from fellow cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin made headlines. Vihari's revelation on social media sheds light on his resignation as captain, citing an incident involving Prudhvi Raj KN, who is also a politician's son.

Amidst this, Ravichandran Ashwin extended an invitation to Hanuma Vihari to join him on his YouTube show, 'kutty stories.' Vihari accepted the invitation, responding in Telugu, and the exchange went viral on social media. The interaction between the two cricketers suggests camaraderie and support within the cricketing community.

In a tweet, Ashwin wrote, "Kutty stories with Ash 'Vihari Garu' Meeru ready, unnara???" to which Vihari replied, "Meru Epudu ante apudu. (Anytime)" This exchange reflects a supportive environment among players, with Ashwin offering Vihari a platform to share his perspective and experiences.

What has happened with Hanuma Vihari?

Hanuma Vihari explained that during a game against Bengal, he shouted at the 17th player, who later complained to his politician father. In turn, the father urged the association to take action against Vihari. Despite Andhra's successful chase of 410 against Bengal, Vihari claimed he was asked to step down from captaincy unjustly.

"I was the captain in the first game against Bengal. During that game, I shouted at the 17th player, and he complained to his dad, who is a politician. His dad, in return, asked the association to take action against me. Although we chased 410 against last year’s finalists, Bengal, I was asked to resign from the captaincy without any fault of mine,” Vihari wrote on his Instagram.

The cricketer expressed his disappointment, highlighting his contributions to the team, including playing with a fractured forearm and guiding Andhra to the knockouts multiple times. In response to the controversy, Prudhvi Raj KN, the player in question, dismissed Vihari's claims, labelling them as false and accusing him of playing sympathy games. This exchange added fuel to the already-simmering controversy.
