The auction for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Premier League 2024 took place on Wednesday, February 7. All participating 8 teams contested to bring some talented players on board in their squad for the upcoming edition of the tournament. A lot of emerging talents and domestic veterans were bought by 8 franchises in their squads for the 2024 edition.

Meanwhile, the veteran Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin, who is the skipper of Dindigul Dragons in the Tamil Nadu Premier League, was also present during the auction, alongside his team owners. He was recently a part of the Indian team in the Vizag Test against England, in which India won by 106 runs.
