Blistering Indian batter and skipper Rohit Sharma achieved a new milestone with his swashbuckling batting approach. Rohit achieved this milestone during his quick fiery knock of 47 runs off just 29 balls in the ongoing first semi-final of the ODI World Cup 2023, against New Zealand. Notably, Rohit played this match at his home ground Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Speaking of the match, Indian skipper Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first; batting first, the opening pair of skipper Sharma and his young mate, Shubman Gill provided a blistering start for Team India, scoring 71 runs for the first wicket in 8.2 overs.

Returning to Rohit Sharma, he has become the batter to hit the most sixes in ODI World Cups, surpassing all the previous records.
