India and Australia re taking on each other in the fourth T20I of the five-match series. Both teams are playing this match at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium in Raipur. Aussie skipper Matthew Wade won the toss and asked India to bat first. Batting first, the hosts managed to post a total of 174 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

The men in blue got a good opening start of 50 runs for the first wicket by the opening pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad. Jaiswal and Gaikwad played the knocks of 37 and 32 runs, respectively. Apart from this, the young batting sensation of India, Rinku Singh shone once again with the bat and lived up to the expectations, he smashed 46 runs off just 29 balls, hitting 4 fours and 2 sixes.

Alongside Rinku, the wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Patel also played a quick cameo and an all-important knock of 35 runs off just 19 balls, hitting a four, and 3 sixes. However, India lost their last couple of wickets in quick succession and got restricted at a total of 174 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Ben Dwarshuis scalped three wickets for Australia, alongside two wickets each picked by Jason Behrendorff and Tanveer Sangha. Apart from these three, Aaron Hardie also bagged one scalp.

At the time of filling this copy, Australia have scored 32 runs for no loss in 2.4 overs, having Travis Head and Josh Philippe there in the middle at the individual scores of 21 and 8 runs, respectively.
