The ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 in India has been filled of a lot of things, alongside cricket; it has seen a lot of controversial statements, incidents, especially involving Pakistan, the team which has been a nucleus of most of the incidents in the tournament so far. In the same line of events, a similar incident recently happened during the ongoing World Cup game between Australia and Pakistan.

Notably, Pakistan are locking horns in the ongoing match against Australia at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Meanwhile, an incident took place in the stands which  has attracted the eyeballs and a lot of criticism from the cricket fans, even from the Indian cricket fans as well.

It all happened when a Pakistan fan was chanting ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ to cheer his team in the match against Australia. But a police officer came to him and asked him to not chant ‘Pakistan Zindabad’. The fan retaliated with a response throwing a counter question on Policeman that why he can’t chant ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ to support his team as every team’s fan are supposed to support their country’s team with the special chants in the stadium.

The video of this incident immediately started making rounds on social media s soon as it was shared by Pakistan-based comedian and TV host Momin Shaqib from his official X handle. Even Indian fans have criticized the behaviour of Police officer with the Pakistan fan.

Speaking of the action of the match, Pakistan are currently chasing the massive target of 368 runs; they have scored 104 runs for no loss in 17 overs, having openers, Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq there in the middle on the individual scores of 49 and 48 runs, respectively.

Earlier in the first innings, Australia posted a big total of 367 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs courtesy of the outstanding centuries from openers David Warner and Mitchell Marsh. Warner and Marsh played the sensational knocks of 163 and 121 runs, respectively.
