Talking about cricket, Virat Kohli is currently in action for Team India in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023; with his outstanding performances throughout the tournament so far, he is the highest run-scorer in the tournament, with 594 runs in 9 innings of the 9 matches, he played for India in the league stage of the tournament.

Virat Kohli joins Sachin Tendulkar in world record of ODI centuries 

The 35-year-old has scored these runs with an unbelievable average of 99.00, hitting 2 centuries and 5 half-centuries with the willow.

Kohli also achieved a historic feat during the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023; the moment came when he equalled the world record 49 ODI centuries, with the former legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar. Kohli achieved this feat in India’s eighth match of the World Cup campaign, against South Africa at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

The day was also special for Kohli as he made this record on his 35th birthday on Sunday, November 5.
