Star Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav came up with an interesting story on his official Instagram handle ahead of the big clash between India and Pakistan in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023. He took to his Instagram handle to ask fans and friends not to ask him for tickets anymore.

“Bhailog ghar pe acche acche TV hain sabke, enjoy karo aur AC mein baith ke match dekho. No more ticket requests pls (Mates! All have very good TV sets in your homes, so enjoy and watch the match, while sitting in the AC. No more ticket requests pls,” wrote SKY in his Instagram story, he also added an emoji of folded hands in prayer in the later part of the Instagram story.

Talking about cricket, India started their ODI World Cup 2023 campaign against Australia, played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The hosts won their campaign opener by 6 wickets courtesy of brilliant knocks of unbeaten 97 runs and 85 runs from KL Rahul and Virat Kohli, respectively.

Later, the men in blue played their second match against Afghanistan at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday, October 11. India registered a comprehensive win by a massive margin of 8 wickets courtesy of skipper Rohit Sharma’s swashbuckling 7th ODI World Cup century followed by an unbeaten 55-run knock from former skipper Virat Kohli.

On the other hand, Pakistan kicked off their campaign with their first match against the lower-ranked team Netherlands at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on Friday, October 6. The men in green won the match by 81 runs on the backs of some brilliant performances from bowlers following the batting heroics of Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan.

In their second match against Sri Lanka, Babar Azam’s men created history by chasing 345 runs, the highest-ever total in the history of the ODI World Cup 2023. Now, it will be interesting to see which team from India and Pakistan will blink first in tomorrow’s clash.
