Renowned Indian industrialist Ratan Tata finally denied all the rumours and fake news, claiming a reward him to star Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan. The rumours circulated over social media after the reports of Rashid Khan allegedly getting fined by cricket’s governing body for displaying the Indian tricolour flag during a victory celebration after defeating Pakistan.
“Pakistan Complain to the ICC against Rashid Khan during his victory celebration with the Indian flag ICC fined 55 lakhs against Rashid Khan but Ratan Tata declared 10 crores for Rashid Khan,” wrote a user on X (formerly Twitter).

Furthermore, Ratan Tata himself came out to clear his stance over the same and busted this entire ‘fake-news’ episode of rewarding Rashid Khan after an alleged fine by cricket’s governing body.
“I have made no suggestions to any cricket faculty about any cricket member regarding a fine or reward to any players. I have no connection to cricket whatsoever. Please do not believe WhatsApp forwards and videos of such nature unless they come from my official platforms,” wrote Ratan Tata in a post from his official X handle.
