Former legendary Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar happened to be on the receiving end of some harsh and hard trolling on X (formerly Twitter). Akhtar posted on X about India vs Pakistan which is set to be played tomorrow, Saturday, October 14. He wrote in his post, “History shall repeat itself tomorrow,”

Subsequently, the Indian fans didn’t miss it and grabbed it as a big chance to troll the former Pakistan legend. Fans recalled and told Akhtar about the entire history of the India-Pakistan rivalry and the results of the seven matches so far in the ODI World Cup since their first meetup in 1992.

Notably, India have won all seven matches they played against Pakistan in the ODI World Cup since 1992. The Indian fans came up with the same fact while trolling Shoaib Akhtar for his ‘history’ remark while posting about the India vs Pakistan ODI World Cup 2023 match.

Later, Akhtar was trolled at that much level that he had to delete his post from X. Meanwhile, he also posted a picture of him dismissing former legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar in a Test match.

India and Pakistan set to fight for third successive win

Speaking of the journey of both India and Pakistan in the ODI World Cup 2023 so far, both teams are coming off with two successive wins in their respective matches. India defeated the five-time champions, Australia in their campaign opener at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Later, India won their second match against Afghanistan by a massive margin of 8 wickets in their second match of the tournament courtesy of skipper Rohit Sharma’s century of 131 runs followed by Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 55-run knock.

Earlier, India and Pakistan locked horns in the super-4 round of the Asia Cup 2023 where the men in blue emerged victorious by a massive margin of 228 runs. It was also a win for the Indian team by the biggest margin against Pakistan in the ODIs.
