South Africa and India are set to clash against each other in the 2nd match of the 3-match T20I series at St George’s Park in Gqeberha on Tuesday, December 12. The first match of the series was washed out without the toss due to rain and the South African Cricket Board also had to face criticism for the poor management.

However, both teams will be eying to start the series with a win in order to have an advantage over the opponents when they come to face each other in the 3rd T20I. But for that, the 2nd T20I shouldn’t be spoiled by rain and here we will be looking at the weather and pitch report for the highly-anticipated contest.

According to Accuweather, there is 63% of precipitation while 99% of a cloudy sky which means the fans might not get to witness a full-fledged match as the overs are likely to be reduced if rain interrupts the contest.

The pitch report in Gqeberha suggests that the surface is a fast bowling-friendly pitch as the pacer will get a good bounce. However, players like Suryakumar Yadav, who uses the pace of the bowlers to smash big sixes, will surely get help while batting. However, only time will tell who will be favoured by the pitch at St George’s Park.
